Sorry to have been a bit MIA over the past few weeks! I have been furiously busy with a lot of different things. Today I’m leaving for the UK where I will spend the next month in London and Cornwall (partly why I was so busy, trying to organise everything!). This trip is partly holiday, attending an anti-predator colouration symposium, visiting labs and doing some field work! Here is a video of our biggest stick insect species in New Zealand, the incredible Argosarchus horridus, also known as the New Zealand Bristly stick insect! Look at that spiny prothorax!
