Moth Week: Every year, from July 17th to the 25th, countries around the world dedicate a whole week to celebrate moths. This falls in the middle of winter for us here in Aotearoa, but this year the Entomological Society of New Zealand decided to take part! As the outreach officer, I was able to organise and help with many of the events we ran. Here are some media coverage of that week in which I helped:
Article for Newsroom about Why moths matter (July 28, 2021)
Radio interview on RNZ Nights with Bryan Crump (21 July, 2021)
Print Coverage
Article in the NZ Herald about the research I did for my Honours project: A native bug’s life: avoid sex, live longer (7 May 2018)
